Microsoft Excel
XLSX is the modern Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format, introduced with Office 2007 as part of the Office Open XML (OOXML) standard. Like DOCX, an XLSX file is a ZIP archive containing XML files. It's natively supported by Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, and Apple Numbers.
